Mara Wilber


Mara Wilber is an associate in the Health Care Department. Her practice focuses on representing health care clients, including hospitals, academic medical centers, physician organizations, start-ups, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and other financial institutions and health care organizations. Mara provides legal advice on a wide range of regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, fraud and abuse compliance, HIPAA and data privacy, and general corporate and business planning.

In addition, Mara maintains an active and varied pro bono practice, which includes representing individuals in various immigration matters, such as SIJS and DACA, and representing not-for-profit organizations on a variety of matters. Prior to law school, Mara received a Master of Arts in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University and worked as a research assistant for the Center for Genetic Research Ethics and Law at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on the ethical, legal and social implications of whole genome sequencing.
